“Pattern recognition and image processing summer camp” consists of three main themes: 1) Visual Surveillance and Object Tracking 2) Kinect-based Object Recognition 3)Image Processing and Analysis. Each theme is designed to have one-day activities, which include lecturing and experiment courses. Through these activities, the students will experience scientific research and development processes on pattern recognition and image processing
主題一: 這個項目是向學生介紹與背景基本的電腦網絡,視覺監控和物件追蹤,並讓他們了解這些技術後親自進行相關的實驗
Theme one: this program is to introduce students with the background fundamental of computer network, visual surveillance and object tracking, and to help them deeply understand these techniques using hands-on experiments on image and video processing, object tracking and network communications.
主題二: 這個計劃的目的是教授學生關於微軟Kinect感應器的基本知識和它們對物體識別的應用,並為學生提供在圖片處理實用技術和識別物體。
Theme two: The objective of this program is to train students with basic knowledge of Microsoft Kinect sensors and their applications for object recognition and to provide students with practical techniques in image processing and object recognition.
主題三:該項目向學生介紹與影像和圖片處理的基本技術,並幫助他們通過親手實驗以了解這些技術。
Theme three: This project introduce students with fundamental techniques of video and image processing and helps them to learn these techniques by hands-on experiments in image and video processing.
