Graduates of the Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering Program are expected to know and demonstrate the following:
- Pilo1 An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering appropriate to the degree discipline.
- Pilo2 An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems, as well as analyze and interpret data and results.
- Pilo3 An ability to demonstrate the thorough knowledge of the literature and a comprehensive understanding of methods and theorems applicable to their research discipline.
- Pilo4 An ability to conduct original research with publishable quality which satisfies peer review.
- Pilo5 An ability to demonstrate the capability of high quality research writing and presentation skills.
