Electrical | Eligible subject to condition(s) | This programme is eligible for Scheme “A” in Electrical (ELL) Discipline on condition that the graduates have completed: (1) an electrical engineering related project* comprising not less than 200 project work hours (declaration by students is required), and (2) “Engineering in Society” with not less than 30 contact hours * Project details such as the topic and abstract should be submitted with the trainee registration (Form TD2). Each case shall be referred to the Panel for final review and decision. |

Eligible subject to condition(s) | This programme is eligible for Scheme “A” in Electrical (ELL) Discipline on condition that the graduates have completed: (1) an electrical engineering related project* comprising not less than 200 project work hours (declaration by students is required), and (2) at least one course from each of the following Groups: Group I: “ECEN4006 (ECEB 454) – Renewable Energy Conversion”, “ECEN 4007” (ECEB 455) – Power System Design and Implementation”; and Group II : “ECEN 3007 (ECEB354) – Power Electronics”, “ECEN 3010 (ECEB 357) – Power Electronics Design and Implementation”, “ECEN 3011 (ECEB 358) – Electric Drive” * Project details such as the topic and abstract should be submitted with the trainee registration (Form TD2). Each case shall be referred to the Panel for final review and decision. |

The List of Scheme “A” Companies Available in Macau for UM-FST Graduates
Graduate Scheme “A” Training Programme is developed by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). It aims at providing registered graduate trainees with the opportunity to achieve necessary reinforcement of theory with practice to become a Professional Engineer. Upon the completion of this programme, graduates from accredited programmes will be eligible to become Corporate Member as a HKIE Graduate Member. The Corporate Member can enjoy recognition under international engineering agreements such as the International Professional Engineers Agreement and the APEC Engineer Agreement as well as recognition of various qualification accreditation agreements.
Upon receiving HKIE/Washington Accord Recognition, University of Macau graduates can participate Scheme “A” Training. The list of Scheme “A” Companies available in Macau (as at July 2015) is below:
