Sign-based methods for solving complementarity problems

Abstract

In this talk, using the sign patterns of the solution of the equivalent modulus equation, the resolution of some complementarity problems shrinks to find the zero of a differentiable function.

Then, some sign-based methods can be established. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the new methods.

Biography

Prof. Zheng is currently an associate professor in the Shaoguan University, China. He got his Ph.D. from the South China Normal University in 2015. His recent research mainly focuses on the study of different kinds of complementarity problems with particular interest on algorithms for solving these problems.
