Abstract
Experts and scholars from mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao are invited to share their experience on the topic of ground improvement techniques to the engineering community of Macao. As the land resource is very limited in Macao, land reclamation and construction on unfavorable ground are more common nowadays. Thus, ground improvement has become an important portion of those projects. In this seminar, case histories from local and adjacent cities will be presented, and analysis, design, construction aspects of ground improvement will be discussed.
