Seminar – Self-powered sensing systems for smart sensing and human-machine interfaces
Abstract As a new type of electromechanical energy conversion device, triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is expected to achieve efficient collection and reliable sensing of ubiquitous low-frequency mechanical energy in the environment, and has huge applications in distributed sensing and energy supply fields such as the Internet of things (IoT) and human-machine interaction (HMI). In this talk, I will report the latest research progress of our research group on TENG-based self-powered sensing systems, tactile perception and HMIs. Biography Prof. Wenbo Ding is now an associate professor and leading the smart sensing and robotics (SSR) group in Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua University. He received the B.E and Ph.D. degrees (both with the highest honors) from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, […]
