Prof. Xia initially compared radar and communications techniques from the past. The existing linear frequency modulated (LFM) (or step frequency) and random noise synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems correspond to the frequency hopping (FH) and direct sequence (DS) spread spectrum systems in the second and third generation of wireless communications. The seminar attracted nearly 50 students and sparked numerous questions and opinions during the meeting. This lecture successfully promoted and encouraged more students to delve into the fields of communications and radar perception. 夏香根教授的講座探索了6G如何作為聯合通訊和雷達感知的重要組成部分。 夏香根教授的演講中,首先比較了過去的雷達和通訊技術,同時指出現有的線性調頻(LFM)(或步進頻率)和隨機雜訊合成孔徑雷達(SAR)系統可以與過去第二代和第三代無線通訊中的跳頻(FH)和直接序列( DS)擴頻系統相對應。 這次演講吸引了近50多名學生參與,並在會議中引發了許多學生的提問和他們自己的觀點。 這次講座成功推動並鼓勵更多學生深入研究通訊和雷達感知領域。 夏教授早於1992年獲得美國南加州大學電子工程博士學位,現任深圳大學特聘教授和美國特拉華大學講座教授,曾是清華大學電子系無線通信Kumar講座教授團教授,中國自然科學基金海外傑青(傑青B類),韓國World Class University (WCU)講座教授,2005年ICASSP大會共同主席(GeneralCo-Chair)。長期致力於信號處理理論與方法,通信理論和雷達信號處理的研究。
