Department of Physics and Chemistry (DPC) held a two-day orientation camp for Year 1 freshmen from 7 to 8 Sep 2019. This orientation camp aims to enforce the communication between classmates, to strengthen students’ team spirit and sense of belonging. Prof. Hui PAN, Prof. Bingpu ZHOU, Prof. Huaiyu SHAO and 3 PhD students of IAPME led the Year 1 students to the training center in Coloane, Macao. A series of games and activities were arranged to build up trust and team spirit, such as Reaction Ball, Treasure Hunting, and Zip Wire in pairs, etc. Students said the camp is funny and they are closer to their classmates after the camp.
