The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at the University of Macau (UM) held an Open Day 2025 on January 12th, which attracted hundreds of students, parents, and members of the public with a series of engaging activities. Participants had the opportunity to explore the latest admission information and unique course offerings of FST, experience the charm of campus culture, and gain deeper insights into UM’s research capabilities.
Interactive booths and hands-on experiences at the event were highly popular, offering not only rich scientific knowledge but also enhanced interactive engagement. During the Open Day, guided tours of various laboratories were provided, including the Structures Laboratory, Centre for Al & Robotics, Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory, and Robotics Laboratory. These laboratory tours allowed visitors to closely observe different teaching and experimental facilities on campus, understand the daily lives of current students, and appreciate the curriculum’s emphasis on combining theory with practice.
Additionally, the faculty organized multiple admission briefings, professional lectures, and workshops led by FST professors who shared insights into the features of courses from seven departments, campus life, and cutting-edge technological developments. Many students expressed that the Open Day helped them gain a clearer understanding of the diverse degree programmes offered by FST and solidified their future academic aspirations.
FST has been dedicated to nurturing outstanding tech talents and has achieved remarkable results in scientific research and innovation over the years. The successful hosting of the Open Day showcased the faculty’s academic strength and faculty advantages while providing an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the institution. 澳門大學科技學院今日（1月12日）舉行盛大的2025年開放日，一系列精彩紛呈的活動成功吸引數百名學生、家長及公眾參與，讓他們深入探索澳大科技學院最新的入學資訊和獨具特色的課程內容，親身體驗校園文化的魅力，對澳大科研水平有更深刻的體會。
開放日現場設有多個攤位遊戲及互動體驗均反應熱烈，不僅提供了豐富的科學知識，還增強了互動體驗。活動期間，科技學院提供實驗室導賞服務，包括結構實驗室、人工智慧與機器人中心、物聯網工程實驗室、機器人實驗室等，帶領公眾近距離感受校園不同教學及實驗設施，了解在讀學生日常生活，感受理論與實踐並重的課程特色。
