Prof. Jilei LIU from Hunan University gave a talk entitled ‘Engineering Carbonaceous Anode Interfacial Chemistry toward Better Potassium Ion Battery’ at the Faculty of Science and Technology on 29 May 2023. At the seminar, Prof Jilei LIU, shared his latest research results in the field of carbon materials for the anode of potassium ion battery. By using multi-in situ spectroscopic characterizations, comprehensive electrochemical analysis, in combination with theoretical simulations, they capture the formation and dynamic evolution of interphase properties and directly correlate them with electrochemical performance. These results promote insightful fundamental understanding interfacial chemistry/K+ storage mechanism on carbonaceous anode, and provide invaluable guidance for better potassium ion battery design.
