Prof. Zonglong ZHU from the Department of Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong gave a talk entitled ‘Enhancing Stability in Halide Perovskite Photovoltaics Through Interface Optimization’ at the Faculty of Science and Technology on 21/10/2024.
At the seminar, Prof ZHU, shared his latest research results in the fields of metal-halide perovskite solar cells. During this presentation, Prof. ZHU analyzed the factors affecting the stability of perovskite solar cells. He provided a comprehensive analysis of device degradation mechanisms, and introduced cutting-edge methods to solve these issues. His research group focused on interface manipulation, such as the application of low-dimensional perovskite capping layers, interface modification and reaction techniques, and the design of charge transport layers. Prof. ZHU’s research group contributed greatly to these interface modification methods. Finally, Prof. ZHU also gave his perspectives on key developments anticipated in enhancing PSC stability.
After the presentation, UM researchers and students also had in-depth discussions with Professor Zhu.
