My name is Huanle Xu and I am an assistant professor at University of Macau since 2021. I received my BSc(Eng) degree from the Department of Information Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2012 and my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Engineering, CUHK in 2016. My PhD supervisor is Wing Cheong Lau who is the director of Mobitec Center in CUHK. I was also visiting the ECE Department of UT Austin from 2015-2016 under the supervison of Prof. Gustavo de Veciana. I am particularly enthusiastic about developing simple yet effective algorithms customized for real-world applications and large-scale systems, employing the power of mathematical tools to achieve optimal results.
